Orange and black car is third. I had already got by but got loose trying to go high around traffic and he got back by. The blue car, white car and a 3rd one up there are all at least one or more laps down. 12 laps to get clear and chase down the leader and second that started on the front row, second was right there past the gaggle of i95 drivers all going the same speed 3 wide. I started 9th. Setup and made the move to go under 13x and she just completely drove down on me. I'm 3/4 of the way next to her. The line is mine. She gives me no room. I think her rail on the door cut my front tire, she shoves me lower with the tire not fighting anymore, then the track marker tire catches the left front and the car rotates. Slow motion roll. Only damage was the tire. Went for a new tire and had tons of help but I dropped the ball and didn't have the right bmw wheel ready. Cluster f**k ensued until I jumped out grabbed all the right crap to put an actual Mercedes wheel on it. Made it back out for 2 laps. Faaaaaaaak. First roll in a car ever. Could have been worse. 🤷💩
I'll post the whole race on yt tomorrow probably. The camera angle is great. Some vibration needs to be addressed but it's cool.

This is a hell of a silly "drift car". Basically a completely stripped and gutted 85 300d shell with a windshield and suspension. Put 260+ mostly trouble free miles on it Saturday, most at 85mph+. First time I drove a "drift car" to an event since my first one in 2017. Ran in B group thinking maybe id move up if it was fast enough,it wasn't really, at least on the tires I ran. The weather was so s**tty I didn't feel like swapping wheel adapters to put the grippier tires I brought on it. Had some fun for sure but watching A group since I really didn't want to be in the way kinda sucked. Can't wait to get my real drift car back in action shortly.

Finally got the win at evergreen raceway in the wire guys 100 lap Enduro. Rocking the driving suit my dad took to many victories like 35 years ago. So awesome to have him there with me. I need to get a better checkered flag holder for the next victory lap to get that thing out in the wind! Sparkles was on a mission, stayed cool the whole race. Brakes were cooked at one point but I managed to chill out and get them back. Started 40th and was up to top 5 in 20 laps. Hell yeah!

"Don't drive angry Phil"🤣 over doing it a bit catching the black car that tried to spin me. Drifting is not the fastest way around the track. Same guy that took me out a couple races back. Calmed down caught him and turned him left into the evergreen swamp💩🗑️. Finished second . Very fun race. 75 laps on the oval and 25 on the "roval" or full drift circuit at evergreen. Sparkles left it all on the track.... literally. Crossed the finish line and went to celebrate by drifting the whole track and she said NOPE. POP POP FART FART SMOKE. For like an hour🤣

I dusted off the very blown up and generally smashed old gut and go Enduro race car, which is a completely stripped down stock Mercedes 300d, threw in a replacement engine I got free with a injection pump with the governor tuned way up and a big shot of water m**hanol for some power, only suspension mods were cut rear springs and a custom rear sway bar. The intentions were to go smash pumpkins and wipe the paint off the guard rails at evergreen smasholantern last weekend and send it off spectacularly. I didn't quite make it unfortunately. Big thanks to and for putting on this bowling game and a great fun drift day before and after. This rusty beat up shell has done hundreds of laps and some great times. Ripped it all day long and it was surprisingly good. Great driving with and other I don't know. A bit of a challenge to drive but that was probably the best part. I wrung every bit mighty mouse ( )had in it today, maybe more😁 It may even have one more event in it...

I took Sparkles(glued in rear glass exploded so🤣)the race car from 38th to 1st place in 37 laps, but here's a great example of what can happen when you lose your cool when things dont go well on a racetrack. I thrashed and built this in a week so I really didn't take any pics in the process. I signed up last minute for a 100lap race with a 800$ to win prize + 200$ bonus if you ran a "true gut and go" car with no cage or race seat. I planed on caging this car before I raced it so that bonus gave me the time to get it together with just a harness bar and rub rails on the sides, plus the complete strip down of the car with a bunch of help from my dad .ab , my cousin and my friend Mike who came in clutch mounting tires and assisting with some final fabrication at 2:00 in the morning Saturday race day. Starting position was determined by order of entrance fee being paid. So I started 38th of 44 cars, it rained just before the race started and the first few laps but I've been sliding around in bad weather in my drift car for years. I was mowing through traffic chaos trying to take my time and not beat the car up, but I had a long way to go. I was up to 4th at the last red flag at lap 30(maybe). There was a massive pile up I got around way down on the inside of the track where apparently I got by the top 3. I still wasnt sure if I was the #34 in 1st or 3rd on the leader board but I was hauling now. The track was drying up and slick fluid spots were getting better. I got slowed down in lapped traffic and the last race winner got back by me for a couple laps, I got back by him in some more traffic and 2 laps later got spun out and hit by a lapped car who then clipped my left front and broke a tie rod. Here's where I should have pulled off but i thought the car was totalled, instead I limped a lap and blasted the guy that took me out then hit the wall when the one tire I was no longer in control of took over driving duties for a few seconds. Fixable but it is a bunch more parts/money/time that could have been avoided by a terrible decision in the moment. Woops. I always learn som**hing at the racetrack.

I scored this C280 for next to nothing thanks to s**tty m**h heads stealing the converter and it sitting for years. It might be a shame to strip it down, the interior is nice and basically everything works, but it's destiny is replacing the thoroughly blown up and hammered diesel race car. She needed a lot of fiddling and a few parts but all seems well now running wise. Lots of weird electrical s**t was going on but I think I tracked it all to a couple of failed parts. Needs brakes and some suspension bushings, but it's a ripper. Actually has really good angle for a stock car too. Nearly 200hp I6, This is going to be fun on a racetrack. She's automatic currently which really isn't that bad racing on an oval, but I'd like to be able to drift and rallycross it so a manual swap will be in the works. .co gave me ideas on getting it running right and is doing a swap on his very similar c36 AMG, check out his YouTube channel for all kinds of cool Mercedes mods and multiple V8 manual swap cars. I'm not sure where it came from but the name Dolly keeps coming to me. I don't name all my cars but some of them som**hing just happens and they get one. 🤷
