We received a call from a disgruntled and seemingly hopeless customer, Bobby Weaver. As you can see, he had made a substantial investment in a 1971 Camaro Z28. I said “disgruntled and hopeless” because after searching for the perfect Hot Rod it ran like crap! Even though we aren’t FiTech dealers, I told him that there was light at the end of that proverbial tunnel, it just needed to be lit. The tech guys were great, but unlike Holley and our other TBI EFI Conversion units, tech data or other resources are not available online, every request needs to be shipped to you online?? Well, this was getting old, faster than me, and so, I convinced him to go to the next step and purchase the new “Sniper 2” EFI system and end his woes. Fortunately, Bobby is a wise individual and realized that it didn’t make sense to own a muscle car that was lacking, well—-Muscle! I rode down the road with him today and watched him grin “ear to ear” as for the first time since he had made that purchase, his engine ran smoothly and with the power it had been built to perform with. We also dumped the old B&M gate shifter and installed a new B&M Sport shifter that made more sense for this car. Another happy customer, friend, that I am sure that will be referring us to his other car club friends .
