Success doesn't start with the perfect opportunity. It starts with solving one problem.

At 16, Corey needed a vehicle but didn't have much to spend. A $500 non-running 1987 Honda Accord became more than just transportation. After diagnosing and repairing a blown head gasket, he discovered he had a knack for fixing cars. By 18, turning wrenches became his career, and 10 years later, he's still doing what he loves.

For the past four and a half years, Corey has been a Lead Technician at Buckley's Auto Care, where every day brings a new challenge, new training, and new opportunities to grow. That constant learning is what keeps him motivated and excited to come to work each morning.

The best auto repair experience starts long before the first wrench is turned.

It starts with feeling heard.

Some careers are chosen. Others are part of who you are.

For Shane, working on cars has always been second nature. Growing up with a dad in the automotive industry, he got an early look at what it means to care for vehicles the right way. He started as a porter and lot attendant before earning his place as a technician, and for the past three years, he's been helping customers at Buckley's Auto Care with the same passion that sparked his journey.

When he's not in the shop, you'll probably find him working on his latest project, a '92 Chevy pickup, or admiring classic American trucks and muscle cars.

If you ever want a great time when visiting the Delaware Beaches, be sure to make time and visit Coastal Wilds in Frankford. It's not far from any resort area and you would be amazed at the types of animals they have to see, learn about, touch and even feed. We recently had a family "Adventure Day" which included a visit and it was so impressive to see how well the animals are cared for and how knowledgeable and patient the staff is.

On Friday, the Sussex YMCA - Rehoboth, board got together at the old Millsboro Middle School to celebrate the success of The Y's first Summer Camp in Millsboro. The Camp staff did a tremendous job of creating a fun space for local kids. Some of them have lived in Millsboro their entire time and yet had never been to the beach! Mayor Bob McKee negotiated using the old school for the camp and the management team at Plantation Lakes offered up their community pool so kids can learn to swim. What a great community effort for all the kids. As a fellow board member to the Y, it's so cool to help and participate in these types of efforts.
