Tire blow outs on trailers. Most applies to motorcycles and cars also. Very often it is user negligence, not the tires. This happens because the tires are over or under inflated ( what is pressure now of non blown tires and did you check pressure at beginning of your trip? ) , old tires ( what is manufacture date code, not when bought them ), axle overweight ( what was that axle on the scales loaded as you are ), tire got low bc a puncture and blew ( people pull trailer tires through the nail triangle = section at intersections where gravel and nails collect, some people like to drive their motorcycles and cars through this section also, do you avoid the nail triangles and other places debris gathers like the edge and center of the road when pulling or does you let your trailer wander? Do you actively avoid these areas as you pull, or just pull it down the road? ), old valve stems cause leaks or fail, leading to under inflation and blowouts ( new valve-stems every tire change, did you check each one or assume shop changed ), the most common winner is people driving past speed rating (did you tow over 65mph?).
