Great job to our team who worked through the night getting this mess cleaned up thankfully no one was injured!

🚨 DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE 🚨

Last night Williams Area officers were busy responding to a tractor trailer rollover crash that occurred on the right shoulder of northbound I-5, north of Delevan Road.

As officers were speaking with the involved driver, they observed signs and symptoms of impairment and ultimately arrested the driver for commercial DUI. In California, the legal limit for a commercial driver is 0.04% BAC.

Drinking and driving is incredibly dangerous in a passenger vehicle let alone a loaded commercial vehicle combination. If you drink, do not drive.

We are looking to add a journeyman mechanic for medium and heavy duty trucks and equipment. Must have own tools, commercial license is preferred but not a must. We are looking for an experience mechanic familiar with complete engine diagnostics and repair for Cummins and Detroit engines. Must have Good work habits be self motivated and have a clean work area! Either relocate or commute to or shop in Willows Ca.

5+ years experience as a diesel mechanic

Experience with Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, CAT engines
Ability to tear down and rebuild a diesel engine, understanding all procedures of the job.
Able to perform and understand computer diagnostics

Familiar with DEF systems
Familiar with A/C systems
Alignment experience a plus
understanding and repairing of ABS systems

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.

Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.

Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisitions new parts.
Performs all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs)

Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times..

Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

This is a full time position pay depends on experience.
