A depleted hybrid battery shouldn't mean a scrapped battery.
When hybrid batteries drop to a low SOC, they cannot turn over the engine to start the vehicle. But you can’t just use a regular jump start on these high-voltage packs. After 27 years with Midtronics, Chad Norton officially retired on April 10.

Chad joined the company in 1999, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, month-end and year-end closings, and collections. It quickly became clear that he had a unique talent for managing the cash side of the business, leading to his promotion to Treasury Manager in 2002.

Over the years, Chad oversaw collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and countless other responsibilities that helped keep the business running smoothly. More importantly, he became someone the entire organization could rely on - dedicated, dependable, honest, and always willing to help.

From sales and customer service teams to customers and business partners, Chad built strong relationships across every part of the company. His knowledge, professionalism, and steady presence will truly be missed.
