📋 DOT Medical Card & DOT Drug Testing — What CDL Students & Holders Need to Know!

Two things that can make or break your CDL status: 🚛

1️⃣ DOT Medical Card — Even after you're done driving trucks, letting this expire can downgrade your license. If you want to maintain your CDL, keep it current.

2️⃣ DOT Drug Testing — This is required for CDL holders AND student drivers heading into class. Make sure your school/instructor is following the correct process when requesting your test — you have the right to be properly instructed before you're subject to testing. Don't just take a test because someone tells you to; know the rules first.
