Electric vehicles? Yeah, we service them! ⚡🔧
This Polestar came in for its 40,000-mile service. During our inspection, we found that the front brake pads were seized in the caliper brackets, preventing them from moving freely and causing rust to build up on the rotors.
We were able to resurface the rotors, clean up the brake pad contact points and caliper slides, and get everything moving freely again.
We also performed a brake fluid flush according to the OEM maintenance schedule, replaced a very dirty cabin air filter, and replaced a damaged parking assist sensor.
Just because your EV doesn’t need oil changes doesn’t mean it doesn’t need maintenance!
It’s easy to overlook routine service when you don’t have to worry about engine oil, but regular maintenance is still essential. Tire rotations every 10,000 miles and inspections every 20,000 miles are good reminders to keep your vehicle in top shape, following the manufacturer’s recommended schedule.
With regenerative braking, the conventional friction brakes are used less frequently. That can allow corrosion to build up on brake components, potentially affecting braking performance when you need it most.
Whether you drive electric, hybrid, gas, or diesel-powered, we’ve got you covered! ⚡🚗
