Them duke boys going to really be able to straighten those curves and flatten them hills now! QA1 k-member/coilover install along with some Wilwood Disc Brakes seems just about right for the general. Next up we will fit the chubby 4l80 from Extreme Automatics in this old thing for a little more top end. ;)

Well sadly our time has come to an end with this W Machine. After a few short passes at Old Boston Airfield 66OH and a little drive through the country to feel out the new clutch this old beauty is ready to go home. Dont fret because i feel like we will see more of this street pounder in the future. Maybe even some full send runway pulls old boston style after clutch break in. We're just going to keep doin it for Murph. :)

McLeod Super Street Pro clutch for the 1969 442 W30. This one should take some serious abuse when demanded and still be plenty streetable. ;)

Well onto our next specimen. This 1969 442 W30 is a very special car to us around here. For those that knew Tim Murphy this was the car that started his passion for the 69s. He restored this car back in the 90s which then kicked off many epic years of service from Tim to the Oldsmobile community. :)

Electrical diagnostics on on todays vehicle can already be a challenge but this is a new one for me. Sometimes you have to rely on the fundamentals to overcome false published procedures and or values.

Its a very rare occurrence but once in a while the flow chart can be wrong. In this case they mislabeled a couple pins that could have been quite confusing.

Monday vibes around the shop are good. Fired a couple of these 🚀🚀🚀 up and rolled them outside so I can get a little cleaning up done down here. We've been hammering 7 days a week for last couple months so the place is a mess. Days like today are not profitable to the pocket but getting reorganized can gain some efficiency for sure. :)
