Collision Correction

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS, 🎉

We’re incredibly proud to share that our owner and president, Darryl Liechti, has been named one of CoVaBIZ Magazine’s 2026 NextGen Award honorees!

This recognition celebrates young professionals across Coastal Virginia who are making an impact through business leadership, community involvement, and service and we couldn’t be more excited to see Darryl recognized among this year’s honorees.

What started with a vision to build a different kind of collision repair business has grown into Collision Correction, SWAG Automotive, and Shell Shine but through all of that growth, the mission has remained the same: take care of people, do things the right way, support our community, and create opportunities for the next generation.

Those of us who work alongside Darryl know how much he believes in our team, our customers, the skilled trades, and the community that has supported us along the way.

Congratulations, Darryl, on being named a 2026 CoVaBIZ NextGen honoree! We’re proud of what you’ve built, but even more excited about what’s still ahead.

Please join us in congratulating Darryl! 👏

⚠️ THIS VEHICLE WAS ALREADY “REPAIRED.”⚠️

The customer brought this vehicle to us after repairs were completed at an insurance-preferred repair facility.

What we found during our post-collision repair inspection was concerning.

A severely damaged frame rail.
A compromised airbag impact sensor.
Previous collision damage that remained unrepaired.
And yes… even a piece of pipe strap being used to hold components together.

This is exactly why we continue to preach one thing:

YOU have the right to choose your repair facility NOT the insurance company.

DO YOUR RESEARCH.

An insurance recommendation does not replace your responsibility to choose a repair facility you trust.

The purpose of this video isn't to scare anyone. It's to educate vehicle owners about just how important that decision can be.

Know your rights. Know your repair.

Choose wisely. Choose confidently.
Choose Collision Correction.

🚨 ATTENTION POLICY HOLDERS 🚨

Buried deep in policy updates and changing policy language, companies like Snake Farm 🐍 are making moves that many believe weaken or limit YOUR right to an independent appraisal when claim disputes happen.

Why does this matter? 🤔

The appraisal clause has traditionally been one of the few protections policyholders have when there’s a disagreement over the value of a loss or repair. It gives BOTH sides the ability to bring in independent appraisers instead of relying solely on the insurance company’s opinion.

But now, changes to policy language are raising serious concerns across the insurance, collision repair, and legal industries. ⚠️

This isn’t just internet rumors either — attorneys, public adjusters, repair professionals, and industry publications are actively discussing these changes and what they could mean for consumers.

⚠️ Read your renewal paperwork carefully.
⚠️ Ask questions before signing.
⚠️ Understand your rights BEFORE you need them.

Most people never realize protections have changed until they’re already in the middle of a claim.

Funny how some insurance companies suddenly find their “good hands” when a news camera shows up… 📸🤔

Customer: files claim
Insurance: “Hmm… we’re gonna need more time.”

Customer: calls local news
Insurance: “Actually, GREAT news! We’ve resolved everything immediately.” 🙌😂

Moral of the story: sometimes it’s not about being in good hands… it’s about who’s watching those hands 👀

A Virginia woman went to a local news station after Allstate refused to pay her full repair bill, according to a newscast from 12 On Your Side. The woman, Tina Kelley, told reporters that a day af…

🚨 BIG WIN FOR VIRGINIA DRIVERS 🚨

🚨 BIG WIN FOR VIRGINIA DRIVERS 🚨

Virginia just made history with the passing of House Bill 808 (HB808) — and it’s a game changer for anyone dealing with an insurance claim.

💥 What it means for YOU:
Insurance companies can no longer quietly slash repair estimates over $3,000 without explanation. They’re now restricted from altering adjuster reports, photos, or narratives without clear justification to the policyholder.

Translation?
👉 More transparency
👉 More accountability
👉 More protection for YOU

This is a major step toward leveling the playing field between drivers and insurance companies.
