2012 Passat TDI in today for 100k mike Timing belt service..

Recently returned from a “certified dealer” with the intake disconnected and about a 5% coolant to 95% water mixture...

I was able to cut the dealership quote in HALF and i even reconnected everything for free 😬😬😬

2009 VW Passat Wagon with a no start condition..

After tearing apart it looks as if someone has replaced all timing components with cheap Chinese knock offs..

The timing chain actually BROKE 😳😳😳

In 15 years of doing this I have never seen this happen..

Just goes to show that cheaper parts are cheaper parts..

I use all VW OEM parts on timing and valve train components.. AND THIS IS THE REASON!!!
