Here to assist you with your RV repair and inspection needs. My wife, Stephanie, and I have lived full time in our motorhome since April 2022.

Hello, my name is Jairus Miller and I am the owner/operator of the ART of JAM RV Repair and Inspection, LLC. Enjoying the freedom, we have traveled all over the US. In our free time, my wife and I swing dance, hike, kayak, and disk golf. Our three cats keep us entertained as well. I'm also passionate about life coaching, natural health and wellness, and cooking. I grew up in a construction family.

From a young age, I assisted with exterior and interior remodels and repairs. In my late 20s, I worked for a contractor that did commercial and residential work for both new builds and remodels. I did a little of everything, as needed, but specialized in finish carpentry work, painting, stain, and lacquers. In the spring of 2022 I made plans to start my own company and change focus. In October 2022, I went to the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) in Athens, TX and completed all the training and tests to be certified as a RV Service Technician. In January, I completed the training and passed the tests to receive the NRVIA certifications for RV Inspector. I also took specialized courses on generators and propane. We are a legal, official business, and we are registered to work as a lawful entity in each of the key states I work in. I have worked on and inspected many types of RVs, also gaining experience by working on my own RV. I am passionate about assisting others on their RV journey. Checklist To Do Before a Storm Rolls In:
1. Secure any outside items, so they don't blow into the RV or away.
2. Retract awnings!
3. Know where closest storm shelter is.
4. With higher winds or hail threat, we pull in our slides to protect our slideout toppers from getting ripped. It also helps us not rock as much.

After Storm Has Passed:
1. Get on the roof and inspect for any tears, holes, or other damage.
2. Clear off any branches or leaves from the roof.
3. If hail damage, contact insurance to get a claim started. If you need to do temporary patches before insurance can make it out (like covering up a hole in a skylight), take pics beforehand and communicate with insurance. They might want you to remove the temporary covering when they inspect or could be fine with your photos.

We do hail quotes and repairs for insurance and also repair roofs if you have any damage!

Why have a certified inspector inspect your RV before you buy it? An inspector will run all of the appliances, to double check they are functioning correctly. They will also check for life safety concerns such as any propane leaks. Photos from a seller don't tell the full picture, so why not have an expert verify the major functions and document the status of the RV?

Our story of full time RVers:
In early 2022, we felt the Lord calling us to buy a motorhome, sell our home, and become full time RVers! We had never RVed before and really took a leap of faith. In the first year, we went to over 30 states, moving every 1 - 2 weeks! We saw very diverse landscapes and unique things. In the end of 2022, Jairus completed his RV tech training and then in the beginning of 2023, he became an inspector too. Once we started his business, our traveling slowed down some, to help with marketing efforts. We now spend several months in 1 location before moving. We settled down for a while in KS for the birth of our son and then started RVing again in Sept 2025.
