Very nice. Very nice indeed.
🚨 INTRODUCING SQUAD 112! 🚨
Aquilla Volunteer Fire Department is excited to officially introduce the newest addition to our fleet — Squad 112! 🚒🧡
This addition was made possible through the generous support of the Hill County Commissioners Court, Hill County Judge Shane Brassell, and Sheriff Hunter Barnes. Surplus Sheriff’s Office Tahoes were made available to volunteer fire departments throughout Hill County that applied and requested a unit — at no cost to the volunteer departments!
For a small volunteer department, an opportunity like this is HUGE!
Squad 112 will serve our community in many different ways — responding to medical calls, assisting with traffic control, serving as a command unit during incidents, transporting personnel and equipment, and so much more. Having a smaller response vehicle also allows us to handle certain calls without putting unnecessary miles and fuel costs on our larger apparatus.
We also want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Robinson Signs for taking our vision and designs and bringing them to life! They did an awesome job placing the decals and giving Squad 112 its official Aquilla VFD look. ❤️🖤
We are incredibly grateful to Hill County Commissioners Court, Judge Brassell, Sheriff Barnes, Robinson Signs, and everyone involved in making this possible. Support like this directly benefits the volunteers serving Hill County and, most importantly, the communities we are here to protect.
We are proud to put Squad 112 into service and look forward to all the ways it will benefit Aquilla and our surrounding communities for years to come.
🧡 Welcome to the fleet, Squad 112! 🧡
