🚨 Don’t Ignore the Small Stuff — It Turns Into Bigger issues later on. 🚨

This truck came through the shop needing more than just an oil change. During our inspection, we found:

✔️ Dirty engine air filter
✔️ Dirty cabin air filter
✔️ Moisture-contaminated brake fluid
✔️ Worn passenger-side engine mount
✔️ Fuel filters due for replacement

None of these issues happened overnight, but left unchecked they can affect performance, drivability, & long-term reliability. 💪🏼

A missing or damaged air filter can allow dirt & debris to be pulled directly into the turbo. Over time, that debris can damage the fins & lead to reduced performance or turbo failure.

Issues like this often go unnoticed until they begin causing performance problems or lead to turbo failure.

🚩That $3,000 repair can become a $16,000 repair real fast when the cleanup gets skipped.🚩

This Freightliner came to us after a high-pressure fuel pump had already been replaced elsewhere. The problem? The fuel system wasn’t properly cleaned & flushed after the original pump failed.

When a high-pressure fuel pump fails, it can send metal contamination throughout the entire fuel system. If those contaminants aren’t removed, they continue circulating & can quickly damage new components.

In this case, metal debris was still present in the fuel lines & rails, leading to the need for a much more extensive repair.

Your truck works hard for a living. Make sure the repairs do too. At Grayson County Diesel, we believe in fixing it right—not fixing it twice. 💪🏼

2019 Ford F-250 6.7 Powerstroke in the shop today getting the attention it deserves!🚨

Customer came in after noticing an oil leak. After inspection, we traced the concern to the passenger-side valve cover area & we are replacing the valve cover gaskets & seals to correct the leak.

While we’re in there, we’re also replacing the closed crankcase ventilation components & a coolant overflow line to help keep everything sealed up & operating properly.

🔧 Oil leaks don’t fix themselves. A small seep today can turn into a bigger mess tomorrow, leading to oil contamination, damaged components, & costly repairs.
