Many of you already know that I never completely stopped taking in work after the fire. I did what I could with what I had left. I do have a new shop built. It's not set completely up yet. And it will still be a while before I have replaced everything that was lost. I have been waiting to post the recovery until the new shop was situated and I had pretty pictures to post. But I've been so busy with customers that finishing up on the shop has been on the back burner. A good problem to have, indeed.
I am proud to say I can offer wheel alignments now! I will not be performing relearns on cars that have any capacity to drive themselves though... Lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation and so on.
Thank you for your continuing patience as I rebuild!

Gosh, another year has gone by and Ive been so busy I haven't posted anything. And I'm grateful for it! I will be taking 2 weeks off at the end of December to spend time with family an try to catch up on my own project. Last day will be December 17th, and back to work on January 3rd. So if you're able to, try and get work you're needing done soon before then. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I've got a customer who got a little burned on a car she bought. You wouldn't guess by looking at it but it's rusted badly underneath not worth keeping It's a 05 Ford Ta**us with a 3.0 ohv. It has over 200k but runs and shifts and besides a slight pull it drives fine. If anyone is needing an engine/trans or a throw-away-car she is looking for reasonable offers. Brandy's car battery kept dying. After $500 of 2 batteries and, sadly, a shop selling her an alternator she didn't need, she brings it to me. With 2 minutes of listening to the customer, and a few more for testing, I was able to confirm alternator is fine and it had a parasitic draw on the battery. Maybe 30 minutes later I was able to track it down to the trunk ajar switch being bent from someone trying to help her get into her trunk. This kept the light on and wouldn't let the security system go into a lower power state. A whole minute later it's fixed and confirm the 350 milliamp draw is gone.
