When the RPM goes up but the car doesn’t… that’s a bad sign. 😬

This Chevy Tahoe came in because the transmission would sometimes stop shifting properly and the vehicle would lose acceleration — the engine would rev, but the Tahoe wouldn’t move as it should.

After removing the transmission pan, the problem became pretty clear: metal debris was collected inside. At this point, the transmission has significant internal damage.

Now the customer has a couple of options — rebuild the transmission or replace it with a used unit.

And one important detail: the trouble codes had been cleared before the vehicle came to us. Those codes can give technicians valuable information during diagnosis, so it’s better to leave them there until the problem is checked.

Sometimes the problem isn’t the entire system — it’s one broken connection.

This Mercedes ML 250 came in with an issue in the DEF system. There was no pressure, so we removed the DEF tank to find out why.

The problem became clear: the connection at the DEF fluid pump was completely broken. Instead of building pressure and sending DEF through the system, the fluid was simply leaking and spraying out.

In this case, the pump needs to be replaced. Then everything can be reassembled and the system tested again.

A good example of why proper diagnosis comes before replacing parts.

That loud noise from the rear had a clear cause. 🔧

This 2021 Toyota Sienna came in with a loud noise from the back, especially when stopping or braking hard.

During inspection, we found the rear differential bushings had failed — the rubber had separated from the metal, allowing the differential to move when it shouldn’t.

That movement explains the noise the customer was hearing.

Unusual clunks when accelerating, braking, or coming to a stop? It’s worth getting them checked.

Your cabin air filter may look clean at first glance… until you open the folds. 👀

Dust, dirt, pollen, and debris collect deep inside the filter over time. A clogged cabin air filter can reduce airflow from the vents and affect the air you breathe inside the car.

That’s why checking it regularly matters — sometimes the real condition is hidden between the folds.

A loud clunk every time you hit a bump or pothole is never something to ignore.

This 2014 Ford C-Max came in with exactly that complaint. During inspection, we found the rear knuckle bushings severely worn — one had completely fallen apart, while the other was already on its way.

We’re replacing both bushings to restore proper suspension operation and eliminate the noise.
If your car starts knocking or clunking over bumps, bring it in before a worn component turns into a bigger repair.

A loud noise from the rear of this 2019 Nissan turned out to be more than just an annoying sound.

During inspection, we found that the parking brake had fallen apart — the brake shoe was completely gone and the remaining hardware was badly damaged.

The solution: replace the parking brake components and hardware to get everything working properly and safely again.

If your car suddenly starts making unusual noises, don’t wait until a small problem becomes a bigger repair.
