We were in the midst of R&D’ing a SR20 alternator solution and Tom needed a new alternator. Coincidence?
He has a thumpin’ audio setup, which might be a root cause of the voltage issue he was experiencing, or maybe just a tired alternator. The plug to on the SR alternator was melted, so it seems the 85a alternator was over worked. Anyways after installing the new kit with a 140a alternator, he saw a 14.2v for the first time on this car.
Enjoy Tom’s engine bay with everything polished and looking clean.

On the outside, the car is fitted with a full GT-1 aero + complete turbo back GT-1 exhaust system. origin-lab 20mm front fenders, and stock metal rear fenders with OEM Type-X tails and wing. The doors are origin-lab FRP with carbon door cards on the inside. The entire door weighs 11lbs with all hardware.
Under the hood is a fully built SR20DET with a Full-Race twin scroll manifold and Garrett GTX3071R. Intake manifold was custom rocking an OG HKS bov connected to a custom mid-mount intercooler setup.
We recently upgraded the entire fuel system with Fuelab brushless surge tank and Injector Dynamics 2000cc. Everything is now managed by a Maxxecu standalone, which communicates data to a Defi gauge cluster.
Stance Suspension coilovers with the Air Cup kit for handling sitting on 17x9.5 / 18x10.5 Nismo LMGT4’s.

Dave has owned this car since the mid-90’s, and kept it era proper since day 1.

pete’s jdm garage (formerly ) hasn’t driven his S15 in over a year due to the car not driving right after being worked on by another shop. He reached out to us because he wanted all of the issues diagnosed and fixed.

Customer stated car sounded like it was running on three cylinders. Did everything he could to diagnose before bringing the car to us. Ended up being a snapped camshaft.
Cylinder head was trashed, but we had a good spare which we installed with Tomei PonCams. As this car was still on stock ECU, we went with Maxxecu plug and play for the SR20 along with an upgraded fuel system.

For a stock T25 SR, this car is fun to drive!
