Brand New MERMAID J-444TCAE3 marine diesel engine rated at 120kW (160hp) at 2200rpm. Note! This is a commercial heavy duty rating and not the normal leisure ratings quoted by some. Mermaid are the sole Worldwide mariniser of the JCB Dieselmax range of engines and this is the ‘flagship’ of the range rated at 120kW for unlimited hours commercial operation. This engine is marinised in house by Mermaid engineers and complies with Stage 3A emissions legislation whilst at the same time delivering exceptional fuel consumption. The base engine is used widely used by JCB in their range of construction machinery, is designed and manufactured in Great Britain and is widely used around the world in a variety of arduous applications making it the ideal choice for the commercial market. The engine is supplied 'bobtailed' (without gearbox) with the following options; •Adjustable anti vibration mounts. •Gear driven sea water pump •12 Volt starter motor and 90Amp alternator •Common rail fuel system with electronic engine management system •Throttle potentiometer to enable speed control with conventional Morse type cable •Water cooled exhaust manifold with dry turbocharger fitted with thermally insulated jacket. •Sea water cooled intercooler, jacket water heat exchanger and gearbox oil cooler •Front belt guard • Digital instrument panel with 6 metre connecting loom • Owners manual and warranty registration documents for 12 months warranty Engine is available on a 4 week or less delivery time, but if you need any specific options adding there may be additional lead time to source these for you.
