This year marks 12 years for RT Customizing! We started off in 2014 doing jobs out of our enclosed carport on the side of our house and selling decals at the local car shows.. We both worked full-time jobs and did this on the side in hopes that one day we would make something of it!
12 Years in the making; We took the plunge and rented a shop in Romney. It only took about 3 weeks until Roger had to quit his job and go in full time. About 6 months later, I had to do the same! In 2020 right smack in the middle of Covid, a fire took our home. We had to find a new home and in doing so, we were blessed with our current location in Westpoint.
Along the way we have tried and experimented in different areas from detailing, vinyl wraps to audio and other stuff.. haha! We have always kept our name as RT Customizing, it allowed us to keep it open and offer a different variety of services. But as time has gone, we have decided that Window Tinting is our main jam and we really don't do much in the customizing area any longer. So.. we are going to go through some Re-Branding.. Changing over to RT Window Tint.. still same that we have always done, but more of a description of what we really do..
If you have a dream.. follow it! One of the best decisions we have made!

We are back in the shop today and getting 2026 started off!! Our first tint jobs of the year, a couple of brand new 2026 Toyota Camry's.
We will be doing our best to get caught up on messages and inquiries. We look forward to seeing what 26' brings!

This week is our last week open until the 5th of January! We still have a few appts available if you are wanting to get in before then. Otherwise, we will have our online tint scheduling open for appointments scheduling for the 5th and after.

Since Windshield tinting has become so popular- a few tips to remember:
Our films are great quality and sometimes you do not see them film on there. Just a few tips for our Service Dept friends and Owners of the vehicle.
Try to refrain from putting any stickers on the film. Removing them may cause damage to the tint.
🚫Car wash stickers- They are able to place those on the outside.
🚫Oil Change / Service stickers - Request placement in the Door Jam
We had a recent one come in that the tint was scratched when a service technician removed a sticker, unfortunately there is no repairing that. Just trying to raise awareness...
Tinting a windshield is not an easy task, so we would prefer not to do any extra if necessary 🥴😂

When you know a business that can help your customers in areas you aren't able to.. Even if we have some of the same types of services. What does it hurt? Not one thing! We have a few places that we know will absolutely take care of and offer the high expectations and quality to our customers in areas we are unable to! It is all about doing right for our customers and knowing the great places that will take care of them. We personally know Hugo and Josie at Ezekiel's, what wonderful people!
