Labor Day weekend is a great way to wind down summer fun with the kiddos! Our Tom Thumb fishing tournament always brings smiles so come for our last one of the 2026 season.

When: Saturday, Sept. 5 10am-noon
Where: Broken Wheel Campground

-Ages 12 and under
-$1 registration fee
-1st, 2nd, 3rd, sportsmanship and lunker trophies and a free weekend camping will be awarded.

Electric is fully restored on the upper end of the campground. Thank you to all of our hard working hunters- Bill, Carl and Ryan. You guys are the best!

Just wanted to check in and let you guys know we are open for business. Store is operating under normal hours 8am-6pm daily. The campground has work to be done, especially in the tent area and sewage plant but most sites are in good condition. Sites 14-25 are temporarily closed until we get an electric line and pole fixed. Hopefully this won’t take too much longer. We appreciate all of you and are so grateful for the ones that have reached out and extended a helping hand.

For those who are concerned for us here at Broken Wheel, we appreciate you. Thankfully we are all good. Goats were rescued by 3 of our wonderful monthlies and the rabbits are all accounted for. Unfortunately, the store was flooded, the goat pen is gone and our sewage plant is wrecked. We flooded in four different areas so lots and lots of clean up will be needed. We have power at the store and lower end of the campground so we are open for business. We are grateful for everyone who has reached out and offered their help. Please continue to pray for our entire community!
