This was a fun one!

Jerry stopped in to pick up his Mustang after we completed a pretty extensive round of upgrades, and this one turned out awesome.

This project received a new upgraded engine, supercharger setup, upgraded engine management, along with a long list of supporting modifications and improvements to bring everything together properly.

There’s a lot more that goes into a build like this than simply bolting on horsepower. Making sure all the components work together, getting the electronics and engine management sorted, and finishing all the little details is what makes the difference.

We appreciate Jerry trusting Weston Automotive with his Mustang and letting us be a part of the build.

Now comes the fun part… enjoying it!

Thanks again, Jerry — have fun and keep the shiny side up!

We normally do not respond publicly to customer complaints, but because this post contains information that does not accurately represent what occurred, we feel it is important to clarify the facts.

First, this customer was not charged over $2,000 for repeated rear brake repairs. That total combines multiple visits and other repairs/services performed on the vehicle. Presenting the entire amount as money spent repairing the same recurring brake problem is simply not accurate. Also one invoice is zero dollars because we warrantied them no questions asked. The invoices posted with the complaint themselves show that different work was performed.

We have also made considerable efforts to accommodate this customer. On multiple occasions, including busy Fridays, we have taken the vehicle in without a scheduled appointment because she was in a rush and needed help. We did our best to accommodate her despite an already full schedule.

Most importantly, we have previously discussed the vehicle’s ongoing issues with the customer. During those conversations, we were told that these problems existed before the vehicle ever came to Weston Automotive and that attempts had previously been made to diagnose or correct them without success.

When a vehicle has an ongoing or intermittent problem, performing one repair does not mean that every future problem involving the same system has the same cause or is the responsibility of the shop that last worked on it. We will always inspect our work and stand behind repairs for which we are responsible. What we cannot do is accept responsibility for unrelated failures or pre-existing problems simply because we have previously serviced the vehicle.

Regarding the request for records, we did provide copies of the most recent repair orders that were requested at the time. We were operating a busy repair shop in the middle of the workday, and immediately stopping operations to print every historical invoice was not practical. That was not a refusal to provide records.

We understand that vehicle repairs can be frustrating, and customers absolutely have the right to question a repair or ask us to explain our diagnosis. We are equally entitled to correct the record when our business and reputation are being publicly criticized using an inaccurate characterization of the work performed.

Weston Automotive has served this community by being straightforward with our customers, accommodating people whenever we reasonably can, and standing behind our work. We will continue to do exactly that.

Anyone with questions about work performed on their vehicle is always welcome to speak with us directly.

Sometimes the best part of the job is having a couple extra sets of hands. 🔧🛞

A couple of our younger visitors were pretty interested in what was going on, so they jumped right in to help while we took care of a tire repair.

We love seeing kids curious about how things work and getting excited about cars. Who knows… maybe we’re looking at a couple future technicians! 😎

We’ve recently seen an uptick in classic cars coming through the shop. While they aren’t our specialty, it’s always refreshing to work on vehicles from decades past.

Back then, cars had personality. The lines were sporty or elegant, the colors were bold and vibrant, and each model seemed to have its own identity. Compare that to many modern vehicles, where everything tends to blend together in shades of gray, black, and white.

Today, I decided to throw a photo into AI and bring it back to the 1980s. It’s a fun reminder of an era when cars weren’t just transportation—they were rolling works of art.

{Pic for attention}

As a local small business, we are incredibly grateful for the support of our loyal customers and the trust this community places in us. Because of that support, we are fortunate to be extremely busy.

Recently, however, we’ve noticed an increase in unrealistic expectations and disrespectful behavior toward our staff. We would like to remind everyone that while we are committed to providing quality automotive service, we are not on-demand and we cannot always accommodate every request immediately.

Our team works hard every day to take care of our customers, and we treat everyone with professionalism and respect. In return, we expect the same courtesy from those we serve.

We value every customer who walks through our doors, but rude, abusive, or disrespectful behavior toward our employees will not be tolerated. We are proud of the relationships we’ve built with our customers and look forward to continuing to provide honest, high-quality service to those who appreciate and respect the work we do.

Thank you to the many wonderful customers who make what we do worthwhile every day. We truly appreciate your continued support.

We just want to say THANK YOU!

We’re incredibly grateful for all the support from our community and for everyone who trusts us with their vehicles. We truly appreciate it and couldn’t be happier to be as busy as we are because of you.

To keep providing the best service possible, we kindly ask that all repairs be scheduled by appointment. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept same-day service for vehicles dropped off without notice, and we can’t store vehicles unless arranged in advance.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
