Not every part of vehicle quality is easy to see at first glance.

Some of it shows up in the final details: the careful checks, the small adjustments, and the pride people take in getting the build right before it leaves the line.

That’s what we’re highlighting in this installment of “Built Below the Surface.”

John Nickeson started at FR Conversions on the production floor in 2020 at our finishing station, where the final stages of each build come together. Today, he serves as an applications engineer, bringing that same attention to detail into his work.

Rainy weather and all, it was a great day at the NYC Citywide Administrative Services Fleet Show in Queens.
