In this walkthrough, Roger Vartanian, VP of Commercial Mobility, shares how the Chrysler Voyager Long Cut Rear-Entry Mobility Van featuring the new stock F2 package supports both ambulatory passengers and people who rely on wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

Flexible seating allows the space to adapt to different needs, while running boards and grab handles make entry easier.

Let’s talk about rust.

What’s happening underneath your vehicle can have a bigger impact than you might think, especially when it comes to how well it holds up over time.

In this next installment of our “Built Below the Surface” series, we’re looking at durability and where it really starts.

Take a look underneath your vehicle.

Are you seeing full powder coating coverage and proper sealing, or are there signs of missed areas? Inconsistencies like missed spots can lead to rust and premature wear.

At FR Conversions, powder coating is an important part of our in-house manufacturing process. When it’s applied with full coverage and consistency, it helps reduce the risk of corrosion before it starts.

That protection plays a role in how long a vehicle stays in service, how often it needs repairs, and how it performs day to day. Your vehicles should be built to serve reliably, safely, and cost-efficiently every day. If recurring rust issues are creating challenges for your fleet, it may be time to take a closer look at whether your current manufacturer is delivering the quality your team and customers depend on.

Let’s talk about rust.

More specifically, what’s happening underneath your vehicle and how that can help or hinder its long-term performance.

As part of our “Built Below the Surface” series, we’re taking a closer look at the details that impact durability long before a vehicle ever hits the road.

Take a look underneath your vehicle.

Are you seeing full powder coating coverage and proper sealing, or are there signs of missed areas? Inconsistencies like missed spots can lead to rust and premature wear.

At FR Conversions, powder coating is an important part of our emphasis on high-quality craftsmanship. When it’s applied with full coverage and consistency, it helps protect against moisture, road salt, and daily wear. That means reducing the risk of rust before it starts and helping critical components hold up in demanding conditions.

That protection plays a significant role in how long a vehicle stays in service, how often it needs repairs, and how well it performs day to day. For fleets and operators, those outcomes directly impact quality, safety, and cost-efficiency over time.

If recurring rust issues are affecting your fleet, it may be time to evaluate whether your current manufacturer is delivering the quality your team and customers count on.

Meet Mikayla Hamrick, FR Conversions’ Product Marketing Coordinator.

For Mikayla, the best part of her work is simple: it serves a real purpose.

“What brings me here are the disability and healthcare communities we serve. Working for a purpose truly matters to me.”

At FR, Mikayla works across teams to create tools and resources that help dealers and sales teams represent FR’s vehicles clearly and confidently in the field, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and cost-efficiency.

And in true marketing fashion, no two days look the same. From product resources to traveling to trade shows across the country, she’s always finding new ways to connect with the industry and support the team.

She’s also a big fan of coffee, creativity, and bringing energy wherever she goes, which makes her a natural fit for the fast-moving, people-first work we do every day.

We’re glad she’s part of our team.

This International Firefighters’ Day, we want to recognize the incredible dedication and bravery of those who serve our communities every day.

We’re especially thankful for our partnership with the Westminster Fire Department. Their team recently joined us onsite for hands-on training, using vehicle extrication equipment to break down our crash-tested vehicles. It’s a win-win—valuable real-world experience for first responders and responsible material disposal for our team.

We’d also like to recognize our preproduction welder, Colton Lust, who organized the training and has proudly served as a volunteer firefighter for 14 years.

Partnerships like this help strengthen our local communities and support the people who keep us safe. Thank you for your service—today and every day. 🚒

It’s an important reminder that mobility is about much more than transportation. It’s about access, independence, safety, and the ability to move through daily life with more confidence and fewer barriers.

This month is a chance to listen, learn, and help elevate the broader conversations around accessibility and inclusion for people who rely on wheelchair-accessible vehicles, as well as the families, caregivers, providers, and communities who support them.

At FR Conversions, we believe mobility solutions should reflect real needs. We’re proud to be a National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) MQAP-accredited manufacturer, reflecting our commitment to quality, safe, practical vehicles that support daily independence.
