Today is the day that we always close each year to spend as a family honoring my late father, John. For those who knew John Edwards, you surely knew his wit, kindness, smart business mind, and engineering prowess.

While, we think of John and miss him every day, we are fortunate enough to see him shine through in our two-year-old twin boys and wish he was here to know them.

We hope that you all have a happy Halloween, celebrating with your families as we will, and we will see you all back on Monday !

On October 31 each year we close for the day to take time as a family and remember our dear John Edwards who passed this day in 2017.

Customers, friends and staff would remember John around the shop. We love to hear stories about John, so please share if you have one!

We take today to visit John at the cemetery. He selflessly gave his body to Wayne state for science in the furthering of cancer research. Our boys visited with us today as well as Doris, John’s widow.

On Halloween every year we take the day to spend with family and remember Evans dad John. John passed on Halloween in 2017 after a 5+ year battle with cancer.

Today we took our sons to the cemetery to “meet “ Grandpa John.

If your dad is still here, give him a call today.

This Spring we will be making a change to the hours at PCS so we can better serve you and also devote some much needed time to our families. This change will take place starting May 1.

We appreciate your understanding with this change. New hours are as follows:

Monday - 9a to 6p
Tuesday - 9a to 6p
Wednesday - 9a to 6p
Thursday - 9a to 6p
Friday - 9a to 6p
Saturday- by appointment (for things like pick ups and drop offs)
Sunday- closed

Probably like most of you, we are working to dig out at home this morning. We know the plows are working but haven’t touched our neighborhood. We are sorry but we will be opening late - at noon today.

If you’ve stopped by or tried to call, we apologize- But we are one of the areas in Westland that has lost power. DTE is saying Saturday for projection to have it back on. So we will be back open Monday at the latest we hope! Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you to the workers out there getting us all hooked back up after this storm!

We wanted to give everyone an update and say thanks for bearing with us the past few weeks. We know we have had some changes in hours and had to ask some customers to work with us on drops offs and pick ups. We appreciate the flexibility and understanding.

For those who know, Evan’s wife Trish was expecting twins due in late February. But the boys had much different plans and surprised us 2 months early on December 20! The good news: right now everyone is fine. We almost lost Trish during their birth and the boys had a 19 day NICU stay. Everyone is home, and doing really well now. Just taking a lot of adjusting and resting when we can.

Buffalo is still in his normal hours 10-4 Tuesday - Friday and Evan will be in and out daily as much as possible. But there may be days where he needs to be with the family and we thank you for your patience and understanding at those times.
