We are looking for general service technicians that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive oil change technicians to help us create an environment of success!



Responsibilities

As a Midas general service technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services, including:

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance,
including fluid exchanges and oil
changes
- Visual safety and courtesy inspections
- Mounting, balancing and rotating tires
- Replacing batteries
- Changing bulbs, belts and hoses
- Maintaining and cleaning shop areas
- Other shop maintenance items as
needed

Qualifications

- Entry level technicians must have prior
knowledge of automotive basics
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and
troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced
environment
- Valid driver’s license

We want to be sure you are aware of our interaction free vehicle drop off service. It is a convenient way to have your vehicle serviced.

In addition, we will maintain the following procedures, as your vehicle works its way through the services being performed.

1. In addition to regular hand washing and hand disinfectant usage by all staff, all customer areas of contact in the building, will be regularly wiped down thoroughly with a 99% alcohol disinfectant.

2. In addition to our normal practice of using floor and seat covers, Midas technicians will be wearing gloves while in your vehicle, as an important extra step for virus

All our technicians are required to wash their hands thoroughly before each car service.

We have restricted our waiting areas to only those who have no other choice but to wait, and offering solutions to keep you clear of contact with our employees. Drop off service is available at all of our locations, and communication via telephone, text, and email, as well as payment over the phone, are all options to keep you from having to enter our waiting areas.

We have also restricted access to our service bays. Only employee's of our shop are permitted in the bay area at this time.

We are disinfecting customer vehicles after service because your health and the health of our employees are most important to us.

Auto body shops are remaining opening during the coronavirus pandemic, and some are offering special deals for essential works still hitting the roads.
