COME ONE, COME ALL. RACE THE KICKING ASPHALT SERIES AT WESTERVILLE BMX!
We are kicking off a massive fundraising drive for new turns!
Our goal is $150,000. So far we have raised just over $8,000.
Short term --> Kicking Asphalt Race Series this fall.
Long term --> Raffles, sponsorships, donations and grants.
Below is the information for the Kicking Asphalt Race Series
The goal is two fold.
1. Raise money for new turns.
2. Have an average of 75 riders across all 5 races!
Details:
The series will be 5 races
Races will run on Sundays from September 13 - October 18th. (skipping Sep. 27 for the Akron State Finals)
All Kicking Asphalt Race Series Punch Cards must be purchased on or before September 13th.
The series is open to everyone who purchases a fundraiser punch card.
The top 5 racers in each category will be recognized at the year end banquet.
Each category will be all ages combined
Points will be awarded using the “State Points” Table

90 minute group coaching session (clinic) before each event with Vet Pro and USA BMX National Coaching Director Justin Travis
FAQ:
Q: What if I don’t want to (or can’t) participate in the series but I still want to race?
A: No problem, racing is always open to everyone and is still only $12 for anyone that wants to race. Racers who do not pre-purchase a Kicking Asphalt Series Punch Card will not receive the Commemorative Trading Card, Keychain or final rankings.
Q: What if I still have punches left on my current punch card?
A: Bring it to us at registration and we will credit each punch left towards the Fundraiser Card for $10 a punch. Example: If you have 4 unused punches, we will credit you with $40 towards your Kicking Asphalt Fundraiser Punch Card
Q: What if I don’t use all of my punches on the Kicking Asphalt Fundraiser Card.
A: The secondary goal of this fundraiser is to have 5 giant races at the end of the season to showcase our program to the city, park department and community as a whole, for that reason the Kicking Asphalt Fundraiser Punch Card can only be used during the Kicking Asphalt Series Events
Q: What happens if one of the Kicking Asphalt Series events is cancelled due to rain or weather?
A: We will make up the race the following Sunday as our season runs through November 8th.
Q: Do I still get an award for the day if I participate in the Kicking Asphalt Series?
A: Yes, you will still get your normal award coin for the day. Be sure to fill up your Cobra Display Board!
Q: What is the final reward for the series?
A: To keep costs low so we can put as much money into the Turn Fund as possible, we will be awarding certificates to the top 5 finishers in each class at the annual year end banquet.
Q: What happens if the group coaching sessions get too big?
A: We will split the sessions up into two separate sessions. Groups will be based on experience and age.
