Body Repair Technician

The Company:

Davis Truck Painting is a family-owned and operated business that has been a staple of the West Sacramento area for over 30 years. We provide repairs and painting for commercial fleet vehicles. We are currently looking to hire an Auto Body Repair Tech ASAP.

The Candidate:

2 years minimum experience in the Auto Body Repair field

- Possession and knowledge of tools and equipment required to make auto body repairs.

- The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge with a variety of types of body repairs including fiberglass repair, dent pulling, electrical, and paint prep.

- Welding experience will immediately put you at the top of the list.

- Upbeat and flexible. We all continuously strive to create an atmosphere of inclusion and acceptance and the ideal candidate will embody these traits.

The Job:

The main function of this job is to provide exceptional repairs to all makes and models of commercial vehicles. This includes Freightliner, Mack, Volvo, Kenworth, Peterbilts, Ford, ETC.

You will be required to repair small to large dents, cracks, and scratches to fiberglass, aluminum, and steel. You must have knowledge and experience working with these types of repairs. You will also be required to replace parts such as bumpers, hoods, grill, and headlights

You will be required to move, operate and safely lift heavy machinery with a forklift. You will be operating the sandblast equipment to strip paint from steel, aluminum trailers, and other heavy equipment.

This is a mid-level position with paid training and opportunities for growth. We motivate our employees to learn new skills and techniques.

This position is perfect for someone looking to learn the refinishing industry from a large/specialty vehicle perspective.

Welding experience is a huge plus but training can be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
