Been a while for updates . Been a year of waiting for specialized parts. Liberty 5 spd, Browell bell housing , Ty drive, and fuel Tech system. So finally able to get back on this build . Motor set, front and mid plate set . Fire wall in final stage, turbo headers finalizing on Christmas day, steering almost finished. Hope to have Ty drive 1st week of January. Mount trans and finish the last few interior support bars.

The Pontiac 512 is finally done. Alot of engineering went into this build for my long time friend Dennis Taylor ( that's a long story ) lol..
You would have to know the history. Lol
That all aside , this Blown 871 Pontiac, with a fresh Kauffman Racing Equipment MR1 block , specially prepped Edelbrock perf Rpm heads by Harold Clark, and countless hours by PRD prep, Design, Fabrication, has finally come to be a masterpiece. Fuel of either E85, or Alcohol is our explosion enhancer of choice, delivered by 2 PC carbs ( out of Ontario) will deliver the terror of how much can you handle.. We incorporated a crank support to aid the crankshaft from breaking . With the blowers capabilities of 30 or so pounds of boost it puts a lot of stress and can flex the crank snout. I am a man of better be safe then big $$$ sorry. We estimate the power to be over & around 1300- 1500 HP @ the crankshaft . The Dyno test results will release the true Asphalt melts #:s . Our next step is to do a run in on the engine break in stand, inspect , install in car , and off to the chassis Dyno for more testing and " True " fact Horsepower Data.
Of course here @ PRD we will be building a set of favorable stainless headers to provide not only the Music note's , but aid in torque curve and HP . 72 Vega drag car "Transformation " !!

This is an older Drag race 72 Vega , that we are bringing back to be a Street Ho**er.
Last July @ PRD, we built this client a set of equal length Stainless exhaust headers and stainless exhaust system for this LS3 ,540hp engine, l480e transmission Vega. ( NOTE ) this car has been gutted , striped to better min weight. Nothing on interior , every ounce of extra metal removed. So now it's time to renovate the interior. Hehehe, love this stuff !!!! Rebuild , fabricate , wire, New Dash, Console, Gauges,Switches,anything street car operation .. So alot of thought, and Hand crafting, fun, and omg hours gets done. Start out with nothing more then a 4x10 sheet of 22ga sheet metal, and magic begin's . We used Auto Meter Instruments, OE switches ,USB charge plugs, cig lighter plug,lighted acc switches, and simple glove box, and LED lighting, New floor insulation, New floor pad , and New custom carpet. Nothing to crazy , but did I want to go so much more . Keeping cost within margin.
We first removed windshield , and to my horror , the body was all rotted out around the window. Holly MF !! With a few more nicer t thoughts thrown in. We didn't want to repaint the car , and here @ PRD , we don't do crap work either.
We removed all the rott, used a few rust killing products and rebuilt the window sealing area with out having to paint "Winning" !!!
Hope you like what your going to see in the transformation of this pretty cool little w matched the interior colors to outside in traditional Harley Orange and Black, and being Halloween , very event fitting. Hope you like what you see in this transition, and my next post on this car will be all new front suspension , accompanied with all new Aluminium hand formed under hood inner fender wells and engine inclose compartment.
