Back in 1996, Mallard Mart began and ventured to the great towns of Bethel, Bridgton (formerly), Waterford (formerly), Norway, West Paris and Livermore Falls! It has been a wonderful twenty six years within these communities and we are very thankful to all our patrons, dedicated staff and various vendors over the years.

With this, the Michaud family announces the retirement of the Mallard Mart businesses in all locations beginning on August 15th and welcome new operations to Rusty Lantern Markets. We wish them great success and know they will enjoy being in these great towns!

Ed + Nancy will be enjoying retirement nearby with their family and grand baby!

We have recieved a lot of questions about our mask policy this morning.

Given the most recent guidance from the CDC and the State of Maine, we are no longer requiring masks for fully vaccinated individuals. It is still recommended that non-vaccinated individuals continue to wear masks which is why our customers will continue to see notices on our doors asking customers to please wear a mask. We encourage all of our customers to read and follow the guidance from the CDC that pertains to them. As many other businesses, we will not be asking for proof of vaccination. Thank you all for your continued support!

Due to COVID exposure, our West Paris location we will be closing for the rest of the day and will remain closed tomorrow. We hope to reopen on Thursday.

Our main concern is the safety of our customers and employees so we ask you to please bear with us while we try to navigate this situation.

We are sorry about the inconvenience and we thank all of our customers for the continued support.

To be clear, all other Mallard Mart locations will remain open. This post is only in reference to the West Paris location. Thank you!
