WEST PALM BEACH — I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU PERSONALLY.
For the past 11 years, Midas of West Palm Beach has been much more than just a business to me.
Over the years, we’ve built relationships with thousands of people in this community. We’ve watched customers become friends. We’ve serviced vehicles for parents, their children, and in some cases, the next generation of drivers.
That makes what I want to say today especially important.
We know we haven’t always lived up to the level of service our customers deserve.
I’ve heard the complaints. I’ve listened to customers who were frustrated and disappointed. I’ve spoken with people who felt the Midas they once trusted wasn’t providing the experience they expected.
And I want to be clear:
I’m not going to make excuses.
If we let you down, if you had a bad experience, or if you left our shop feeling like your concerns weren’t handled properly, I’m sorry.
More importantly, I want the opportunity to make it right.
We are currently making some of the biggest changes we’ve made in our 11 years in West Palm Beach.
We’re changing personnel.
We’re raising expectations.
We’re increasing accountability.
And most importantly, we’re recommitting ourselves to taking care of every customer the way they deserve to be taken care of.
That means more than repairing cars. It means listening. Communicating. Respecting your time. Making you feel welcome when you walk through our doors. And making sure you leave feeling that we genuinely cared about you and your experience with us.
And these changes aren’t just words.
This weekend, we are actually closing the store so our team can clean, organize, reset and improve the shop from top to bottom.
We could stay open and keep doing business as usual.
But business as usual isn’t good enough.
We want to reopen with a cleaner, more organized and more welcoming environment — and with a renewed standard for the experience every customer should receive when they walk through our doors.
But I also understand something:
Trust isn’t rebuilt with a Facebook or LinkedIn post.
Trust has to be earned back through actions.
One customer at a time.
One vehicle at a time.
One experience at a time.
So if you stopped coming to us because of a bad experience, I hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity.
If there is an issue from the past that you feel was never properly resolved, please reach out to us.
And if you’ve lost confidence in Midas of West Palm Beach, I understand. All I can ask is for the opportunity to show you what we’re building now.
I’m putting my name and my reputation behind this commitment.
After 11 years in this community, I’m not going anywhere when things get difficult. I’m committed to fixing what needs to be fixed, rebuilding the team, and earning back the trust of the people who have supported us — and holding ourselves accountable when we haven’t lived up to that trust.
This isn’t about a new slogan.
It isn’t about a new sign.
And it isn’t about making promises we can’t keep.
It’s about rebuilding our reputation through our actions.
To everyone who has supported us over the past 11 years, thank you.
To anyone we’ve disappointed, I’m sorry — and I hope you’ll give us the opportunity to earn back your trust.
West Palm Beach, we’re listening. We’re changing. And we’re committed to being better.
❤️💛 A NEW TEAM. A RENEWED COMMITMENT. ONE GOAL: EARNING YOUR TRUST BACK.
