We love seeing the next generation of engineers put their skills to the test.
This year, the Lipscomb University Baja SAE team traveled to New York to compete against teams from across the country. After countless hours of design, fabrication, problem-solving, inspections, repairs, and perseverance, they not only passed every inspection but also completed the endurance race and drove their car into the trailer under its own power—a huge accomplishment for a growing program. To God be the glory!
Northbend Pattern was honored to support the team by machining a few components for their vehicle. Throughout the season, the team faced challenges, setbacks, and last-minute obstacles, but through much prayer, hard work, and God's provision, they continued to move forward. The real credit belongs to these students, whose determination, teamwork, and grit were on full display throughout the competition.
Congratulations to the entire team on a successful season. We're proud to have played a small part in your journey and can't wait to see what you accomplish next.
