Seven racing classes. Five days. Aircraft reaching speeds of 500+ mph. And for the first time in Roswell, the full field is coming together for the 2026 National Championship Air Races & Air Show.

From historic WWII fighters and T-6 military trainers to experimental aircraft, Formula 1 racers, biplanes, STOL aircraft and jets, this event represents the incredible range of aviation.

And that’s exactly why Concorde Battery is proud to serve as the Official Battery of the National Championship Air Races & Air Show.

Some aircraft carry more than people. They carry history.

This UH-1H Huey responded in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. Years later, after being considered unable to fly again, the team at Celebrate Freedom Foundation spent years bringing this remarkable aircraft back to the sky.

Today, its mission continues by inspiring the next generation through aviation and STEM education.

We’re proud to play a small part in keeping this piece of American history flying.
