This Friday first responders and truckers stop in and get your meal!!

Note: This event was conceived by Bobby Jeffcoat and Teddy Huff as a way of giving back to the community. They paid for the first week out of their pockets with the help of a few donors. The Lexington Ledger received permission to have these meals in front of their office after being asked to seek that okay. The owner of the property graciously gave that. As the event grew, so did the expenses. There have been many small donors but so far, two people have offered to sponsor a full week at $400! Their names have will be placed on the sign on loan from Dan Hansen with OPTEC. This week's BBQ is being paid for by a political candidate. Next week, Big Cheese Pizza is giving all the food. Bobby Jeffcoat doesn't have a political bone in his body and backs no particular candidate. He has a heart of gold! If you want to help, please drop donations at 1051 Main Street in South Congaree. Anyone who offers a large donation or a full sponsorship will be featured on the sign.
