This is a perfect example of why we always suggest a proper repair over the cheapest repair. The previous owner had gotten I am sure a cheap price to fix the damage. The problem is, now we have even more rusted holes because the repair did not last.

We will take this one down to full metal, cut out the rust, weld in new metal, and then finish the repair so the customer who owns the vehicle will have a proper long fix on the car.

We had the privledge of working on this 2018 Hyundai last week. We were only doing the front passenger side of the vehicle. While taping up and prepping the car, we were able to see a close look at another shops work. (Click each picture for a description). This is why your car may take a day longer with us, why we may charge a little more than the guy doing it in his home garage. Because we do not make these mistakes and let our customers drive around in bad looking cars. (Look at next post for how we fixed it)

With the cold temperatures coming this coming week, batteries will struggle. We highly suggest getting your battery tested for free at any parts store (although we do prefer Orielly). The cold weather will take a subpar battery and make it a dead battery. Do not be stuck looking for someone to jump your car this week and get it tested and replaced if needed.

This tow company explains it best. Plan to stay off the roads Sunday afternoon and Monday. There will be delays, some places might be closed. Better to be prepared instead of stuck in the cold and wet.

Today is your prep day, folks.

It WILL snow. Roads WILL be bad. Stay off of them until road crews get things cleaned up.

Do you have a shovel? Rock salt? Sled for the kids?

Is your vehicle fueled? Do you have spare blankets on board?

KEEP YOUR CELL PHONE CARGED. It's probably a good idea to have a portable power pack to charge your phone if needed.

We know you're only walking from the house to the car, but dress for the weather. You never know how far you'll have to walk in an emergency.

We haven't had a storm like this in a few years. Lots of people have forgotten how to deal with it.

Prepare today. Stay put until the snow ends. Be smart.
