Attention GM Silverado & Sierra Truck Owners.
If you are not aware of it already, you will be in time; of the issues with active fuel management aka cylinder cancelation.
GM is absolutely plagued with engine problems and the valve train, where the valve lifters are prematurely wearing out.
Which results in engine misfire, a loud ticking noise, bent push rods, etc.
All which usually means complete engine replacement with the cancelation delete like this 2014 GMC Sierra.
The 2007 through 2019 are the worst. We recommend installing a plug in play to delete the cylinder cancelation to prolong engine replacement.
