While some individuals may view this task as intimidating, I find the process of retrieving dashboards to be therapeutic. The challenge of understanding the disassembly and reassembly procedure is particularly satisfying, much like completing a complex puzzle. This was a noteworthy discovery. A 2023 Ford Bronco with only 39,000 miles was presented to us with a washer fluid leak and no sound output from the radio. Upon inspection, we found washer fluid leaking from the cargo area. After some disassembly, we pinpointed the leak to a disconnected line behind the rear quarter trim. This line was spraying fluid directly onto the audio system control module! Luckily for this customer, we were able to clean and dry out the module and restore audio output for the radio.

A minor issue with significant consequences: a 1/16” hole led to thousands of dollars in repairs. A 2015 GMC Terrain was brought in with a substantial oil leak, caused by a blown rear main seal resulting from excessive pressure due to frozen water in the PCV system. The root cause of the excess water in the PCV system can be attributed to a small 1/16” or***ce on the intake manifold, which facilitates crankcase ventilation. However, inadequate maintenance led to carbon buildup in this critical hole. Failing to replace oil within the recommended interval allows deposits to form within the engine, ultimately causing damage and disruption.

I plan to increase the frequency of posting daily updates and photos of work in progress in the shop. Here's a recent example from last year. This 1994 Silverado presented with a coolant leak, and consistent with typical Chevy issues, required intake manifold gasket replacements.
