We received our newest version of our heavy duty ignition switches and just finished hand testing each one for perfect performance on our connectivity meter. You now have the option to personalize your keys with your name, the car's name, car brand, chassis number, phone number, return or reward info, "Ignition" identification, or even a "Remove After Flight" label!

After a very satisfying test drive reveling at the difference of his new Cobra valley suspension, the proud owner of Superformance SP 23 is ready to head out on his 430 Mile drive back to Louisville Kentucky while enjoying every mile of his ultra smooth ride on the way back, as well as protect him from any pothole he might hit, (and some might be on purpose just to feel the difference!)

The challenge on the front end was surrounded by the increased angle of the front shocks of this two of a kind 33 year old Superformance prototype Cobra. All of the mounting points are very different from other Superformance cars and even more had to be carefully clearanced to fit the robust full sized Cobra Valley shock and spring assemblies into the stock mounting location and keep everything as original as possible as it was originally built.

The challenge on the rear end involved the fact this two of a kind 33 year old Superformance prototype Cobra has a solid straight axle live rear differential, so all the mounting points are wildly different from any other Superformance and everything had to be meticulously clearanced to fit the robust full sized Cobra Valley shock and spring assemblies into the stock mounting location and keep everything as original as possible.

Superformance sp23 Cobra is one of only two prototype cars brought to the United States over 33 years ago and the first and last ones of it's kind built like it. With a steeper canted front suspension and solid live rear straight axle rear end, all the sizes, dimensions, dampening and springs suspension rates are completely different than any other Superformance Cobra. In fact the shock lengths are even reversed front to rear. Everything had to be formulated, re-engineered and hand fitted just for this unique one-off application. And what a difference in ride quality, handling, smoothness and stability! The old shocks on the right, the new Cobra Valley shocks on the left. Note the larger shaft sizes, thicker eyelets, and more compression travel not to mention the 300% adjustable valving dial.

We had the opportunity to create a one-off custom suspension for sp23, one of the first two Prototypes brought into the U.S. 33 years ago and what would later become the Superformance Mk3 Cobra. The owner desperately wanted to upgrade the suspension for years since it is so vastly different from any other Superformance before or after, a well as have a complete once over on the entire car and he drove up from Kentucky to have it all done. A month later, and a new custom fitted suspension system was made and 48 points of repair, upgrade or improvements were addressed, and it is ready to head back home on it's maiden 430 mile road trip! And the new ride quality, handling and comfort is absolutely outstanding on this 33 year old Cobra!!!!!

This method is by far the easiest, most effective, most accurate and most reliable procedure to set the proper clearance in the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder and push rod system. If the slave cylinder has an internal spring on the piston then simply leave the clamp on the pushrod while performing this task. The internal spring is unnecessary and should always be removed. Many times a small button head screw tapped and threaded into the piston head to keep the piston just above the inlet hole is required in place of the spring.
