There’s always that one component on a build that gets more questions than everything else.

For a lot of boosted cars, SmoothBoost can be exactly that. Instead of being locked into one boost level, it gives you control over how much of the combination you actually use. Keep things turned down for cruising around town, then bring the boost in when you’re ready to put the car to work.

Ever feel your GM V8 shudder at a light cruise? This is the fix.

GM V8s shut off half their cylinders under light throttle to save fuel, and you feel the shudder and tone change every time. Over the miles, that switching adds wear you would rather avoid.

The Range Technology AFM/DFM disabler keeps all eight awake. Plugs into the OBD port, installs in seconds, kills auto start/stop too, and comes right back out anytime. No tune, no reprogram, nothing permanent.

Fits GM V8 trucks, SUVs, and cars with AFM or DFM: Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Sierra, Yukon, Escalade, including the 5.3L and 6.2L 10-speed. Does not fit 2022.5+ refresh trucks or 2021+ SUVs, so check the VIN on a 2022.

A bigger injector than you need is not headroom. It is a problem you paid for.

Too much injector on a stock computer could cause a rough idle, hard starts, a stumble off the line, and worse mileage. You did not buy a safety margin, you bought a drivability issue, and chasing it down costs you again.

Sized right, the car idles clean and runs the way it should. That is why we match the injector to what your build actually flows.

Bigger is not safer. It just means you might buy injectors twice.

You looked at this and thought carburetor. Almost everyone does.

Look again. Those are throttle bodies under that blower hat. This BDS-blown 2nd-gen is fuel injected, hiding modern fuel control under the most old-school look in the building. And that is the fun of it. All the attitude of a bug-catcher scoop, with the drivability and tuning range of EFI underneath.

Here is the thing though: carbureted or injected, the result comes down to the same thing. Somebody has to know how to make it run right. We tune both, old school and new, on the same dyno we run everything else on, because a setup like this deserves someone who speaks its language.

The look fools people. The tune never lies.

The cheapest thing you can bring us is the whole story.

Driveway jobs go sideways all the time. It happens to everybody. But when we know how it got off track, a diagnosis that could take all day takes ten minutes, and the final bill shows it.

The details you are embarrassed about are usually the ones that solve the problem.

Honesty is cheaper than labor. Always has been.
