🚌 MID-PRAIRIE NEEDS YOUR HELP! 🚌

Our students are involved in athletics, activities, competitions, field trips, and events throughout the year—but we need drivers to get them there.

Right now, our need for activity/trip bus drivers is serious. We have events that need transportation, and we simply need more people willing to step up and help.

We are asking our Mid-Prairie community for help. Maybe driving a regular bus route isn’t for you—and that’s okay! Trip driving may be a great fit. You can help with activity trips as your schedule allows. Even if you can only take an occasional trip, every driver makes a difference.

Our kids work hard for the opportunity to participate in these activities. Transportation should not be the reason they can’t get there.

If you’ve ever thought about getting your CDL, now is the time. Mid-Prairie will help you through the process and provide the training and support needed to get you behind the wheel.

Mid-Prairie is looking for Activity Bus Drivers and Substitute Bus Drivers to help keep our students moving!

Our students count on transportation to get to their games, activities, competitions, field trips, and school each day. We have amazing students who are ready to go — we just need more people behind the wheel to help get them there! 💛🖤

We are looking for:
🏀 Activity Trip Drivers
🚌 Substitute Route Drivers
⚽ Drivers who can help with occasional trips
💛 Anyone willing to step up and support our students!

You don't have to drive every day. Even helping with a few trips makes a BIG difference. We will help you through the process of becoming qualified and provide the training you need.

Back to School — Thank You!

As we head into another school year, I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone in our communities who helps keep our students safe.

Thank you to the families who teach their children to be safe around buses. Thank you to the drivers who slow down, stay alert, and give our buses the space they need. And thank you to everyone on the road who remembers that when you see those yellow buses, there are precious lives inside.

But most of all, I want to give a HUGE thank you to our amazing bus driver team!

Every morning, they get behind the wheel with one of the most important jobs there is — safely getting our students to school and back home to their families. They deal with changing weather, busy roads, unexpected situations, and all the little things that come with transporting kids, and they continue to show up and do their job because they care about our students.

We are incredibly thankful for the dedication, patience, and care our drivers show every single day.

Here’s to a safe, successful, and wonderful school year!

It truly takes all of us to keep our kids safe. Thank you for being part of that team!

We need SUB & ACTIVITY BUS DRIVERS, and we truly need our community’s help.

Every game, meet, competition, performance, and activity means something to our students. They’ve practiced. They’ve worked hard. Their coaches and sponsors are ready. Their families are ready to cheer them on.

But we still have to get them there.

That’s where YOU can make a difference.

We are looking for people willing to help drive our students to sporting events and activities throughout the school year. You don’t have to drive every trip. Even helping with a few trips can make a HUGE difference!

MyRide K12 Launch Day is Almost Here!

August 11 is right around the corner, and it’s an exciting day for our Transportation Department and our families!

On August 11, the MyRide K12 app will officially go live! Once it’s active, you’ll be able to access your child’s transportation information right from your device.

As with any new technology, there may be a few bumps along the way, but we’re excited about what this will bring and are committed to working through any challenges together. We truly believe this tool will make it easier to stay informed about your child’s transportation.

A Few Helpful Reminders Before You Log In:

✅ Your child’s Student ID is the same as their lunch number.

✅ Your child’s birthday must be entered as: MM/DD/YYYY
(Example: 08/11/2015)

✅ For the best experience, use the MyRide K12 web link available on our district website. The PowerSchool app does not currently include all the features on the step by step instructions.

Thank you for your patience and support as we launch this new service. We know it may take a little time to get everything up and running smoothly, but we’re confident you’ll enjoy the convenience and benefits MyRide K12 provides.

We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for your patience, understanding, and support as we launch our new MyRide K-12 transportation system.

We know that learning a new system can be frustrating at times, and we've experienced a few bumps along the way. That's completely normal whenever something new is introduced. We appreciate everyone who has reached out with questions, concerns, and helpful feedback.

Take a deep breath... we've got this! 😊

Our Transportation Department is working hard every day to resolve issues, answer questions, and make sure every student is ready for a safe and successful school year. If something isn't quite right yet, don't worry—we'll work through it together.

We truly believe that once everything is up and running, MyRide K-12 will provide families with better communication, easier access to transportation information, and a much smoother experience throughout the school year.

Thank you for showing us grace as we work through these startup adjustments. Your patience and kindness mean more than you know.

Together, we'll get through the growing pains—and the end result will be worth it.
