The Business Information Technology Class partnered with Otter Creek Farmstead in Ohatchee to design a Kennel focused pamphlet.
Each one was judged by the company to determine which 3 were the best in advertising, style, visual, and information. We submitted over 15 styles and utilized skills learned with .Microsoft, Canva, and other tools.
Winners were awarded gifts provided by the Otter Creek Farmstead in Ohatchee, AL. First place: Kyler Aday, Second place: Ansley Armstrong, Third place: Emily Whaley.

RRCTC is extremely proud of our Co-Op students for earning nearly $400,000 during the 2025–2026 school year!

This year, we had 64 students across both school systems participating in Work-Based Learning opportunities, gaining valuable real-world experience while preparing for their future careers.

A huge shout-out goes to our Work-Based Learning Coordinator, Nancy Messer, for her guidance, mentorship, and dedication to helping our students succeed.

We also want to sincerely thank all of our business and industry partners who hired our students and worked alongside us to provide meaningful Work-Based Learning opportunities. Your investment in our students is helping build the future workforce of our communities.

We are proud of what these students have accomplished and excited to see what their futures hold!

We are incredibly proud to announce that, for the first time since launching National Healthcare Association CPCT testing in 2016, our program achieved a 100% pass rate on the national Certified Patient Care Technician exam — along with the highest scores our program has ever earned.

Anyone familiar with this exam knows how challenging it is and the amount of preparation, studying and dedication it requires. This accomplishment reflects not only the hard work of our students, but also the unwavering commitment of a teacher who continually goes above and beyond for her program and a career tech director who encourages students every single day.

This milestone was earned through perseverance, excellence and heart — and we could not be more proud!

We might be two days late, but let’s be honest… when you’re appreciating someone like Mr. Logan Cofield, it’s worth the wait. 😄

In the past 5 years, he came in like gangbusters and somehow managed to whip us all into shape (no small task, by the way). As Director of Career Tech, he keeps things running and expectations high

He knows his job inside and out—and more importantly, he genuinely cares about seeing students succeed. Whether it’s pushing programs forward, supporting teachers, or making sure opportunities are there for every kid, he’s always all in.

Thanks for your hard work, your leadership, and for keeping us on our toes, Mr. Cofield —we’d probably be lost without you (and maybe a little too relaxed 😅).
