Reason number 1 techs hate engineers

We are about half way done removing the dash to replace a brake pedal assembly

Why does it need a pedal assembly
The engineers used a 30 cent piece of plastic inside of the pedal
They also discontinued the part
so used parts is the only option

Sooo
10 hours labor
Customer spent weeks finding a used part
Car has been down weeks

All over cheap plastic
And they decided to build the car around the brake pedal

Other than that
