Last year, I had the privilege of sitting down for dinner with fellow advocates Christopher Perricone, Jon Hart, Robert Garza, and myself (Rob V.) to discuss one of the most pressing issues facing families today: the growing concerns surrounding the family court system.

We didn’t gather to complain—we gathered to collaborate. We shared experiences, discussed possible solutions, and talked about how we can bring greater transparency, accountability, and public awareness to a system that profoundly impacts children and families.

No matter where we come from or what organization we represent, we all share one common goal: protecting children, strengthening families, and encouraging meaningful conversations about reform.

Real change begins when people come together with purpose.

WHO IS THE LIFEBOAT FOUNDATION?

Most people have never heard of it.

The Lifeboat Foundation is a nonprofit organization that says its mission is to help humanity survive existential threats—events that could permanently alter or even destroy civilization. According to its own materials, its focus includes:

1. Artificial Intelligence (AIShield)
2. Engineered pandemics and bioweapons (BioShield)
3. Cyber warfare (InternetShield)
4. Nanotechnology risks (NanoShield)
5. Asteroid impacts (AsteroidShield)
6. Preservation of human knowledge (InfoPreserver)
7. Space habitats designed to serve as a long-term backup for civilization
8. “LifeShield Bunkers” intended as fallback locations if global disasters occur.

The foundation also promotes the idea that humanity should eventually establish self-sustaining space habitats so civilization could continue even if Earth experienced a catastrophic event. It has even discussed conceptual designs such as “Ark I” while expressing support for advances that make space more accessible.

Another interesting piece of the puzzle is that the organization embraced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency early, creating a Bitcoin endowment fund and accepting crypto donations from supporters around the world.

What’s fascinating isn’t just the technology—it’s the philosophy.

The Lifeboat Foundation asks a simple but profound question:

“If civilization faced a catastrophic event tomorrow… what would we need today to ensure humanity survives?”

Whether you view these ideas as visionary planning, speculative futurism, or somewhere in between, they raise important questions about where technology, preparedness, and the future of humanity are headed.

The best approach is always the same:

1. Read the source material.
2. Verify the facts.
3. Think critically.
4. Draw your own conclusions.

Knowledge is power.

February 14, 2024 — Valentine’s Day.

I was living in my camper, on the verge of homelessness.

I looked at the picture of my son on the refrigerator. Then I looked at the bottles of alcohol sitting on the counter.

I got on my knees and asked God to forgive me. I asked Him to give me the strength to quit because I knew I couldn’t do it by myself.

One by one, I opened every bottle and poured them down the sink.

Except one.

A little 99-proof grape shooter.

I left it sitting there. For hours I stared at it. I wrestled with myself.

Around 6:00 that evening, I walked back over, ripped the metal cap off, poured the last drop down the drain… and I haven’t had another drink since.

Today marks:

903 days sober.
129 weeks.
2 years, 5 months, and 22 days.

Looking back, I truly believe God met me in one of the darkest moments of my life. That decision didn’t instantly fix everything, but it gave me the clarity and strength to face what was ahead.

To everyone fighting through the pain of family court, separation from your children, divorce, or any other battle…

If you’re using alcohol to numb the pain, I’m asking you as a friend, a father, a brother, and a fellow survivor: please put the bottle down.

The system is hard enough without giving alcohol another victory over your life.

Don’t wait until tomorrow.

Tomorrow never comes.

Make the decision today.

Ask for help if you need it. Lean on your faith, your family, trusted friends, or a recovery community. There is no shame in reaching out.

Your children need you.
Your family needs you.
The world needs you.

If God could pull me out of one of the darkest chapters of my life, I believe there is hope for others too.

One decision.
One hour.
One day at a time.

To God be all the glory.

Interesting to say the least

THEY WERE NEVER JUST “JANE DOE.”

For decades, many of these young women were known only by where they were found.

“Baby Girl.”

“Jane Doe.”

An unidentified victim along an interstate.

But they had names.

Tracy Sue Walker.
Elizabeth Lamotte.
Michelle Inman.
Lisa Nichols.
Lorie Pennell.
Tina McKenny Farmer.

They had families who never stopped wondering. Dreams that were never fulfilled. Lives that mattered.

The Murder 101 docuseries tells an incredible story—not just about unsolved murders, but about a group of high school students who refused to let these victims be forgotten. Through determination, research, and advances in DNA technology, several victims finally got their names back after decades of silence.

Whether these murders were committed by one person or multiple killers, one fact remains:

Justice delayed is not justice denied.

Every cold case deserves another look.
Every victim deserves to be remembered.
Every family deserves answers.

Sometimes all it takes is one new lead, one new technology, or one person willing to ask the questions everyone else stopped asking.

See below:

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A new docuseries is showcasing an Elizabethton High School sociology class’s efforts to find out more about the “redhead murder” cases. In total, there w…
