Chad Ray and staff, of 66 Garage, proudly presented the Route 66 Hogs & Frogs / 66 Garage Scholarship to James Timm- a Crocker High School Class of 2025 student and graduate of the Waynesville Career Center.
Joining James for the presentation were his instructor, Jason Jones from the Auto Service Technology program at Waynesville Career Center, and his father, Eric Timm, a Service Advisor at Seeger Toyota.
James will be completing a 2-year internship at Seeger Toyota and participating in bi-monthly training at Ranken. His hard work and dedication are being celebrated in a big way!
Thanks to the Route 66 Hogs & Frogs Event, 66 Garage was invited to host a car show featuring 17 amazing vehicles. They generously chose to donate all proceeds to the Waynesville Career Center raising $425!
Even more incredible, the City of Waynesville matched those funds, bringing the total to $850 for James’ scholarship! A heartfelt thank you to the City of Waynesville and to Michelle Brown with the Route 66 Hogs & Frogs committee for their support and contribution.
Mark your calendars in 2025, the car show will move to the historic square, right in the heart of Route 66 in Waynesville! Proceeds from this event will once again benefit the students of Waynesville Career Center.
