Fairbanks Rd is closed today to thru traffic. You can reach our shop from the Route 133 end, as of right now, but not the Mt. Pisgah end.

Another 2020 Honda HR-V getting a new HVAC housing due to a jammed temperature blend door. Heater core and evaporator core while it's apart. Also getting a new A/C condenser and line due to both leaking. Then of course an A/C recharge with R1234-yf.

Latest update from the Town of Wayne is the road crew is planning on starting on the Mt. Pisgah/Old Winthrop Rd end of Fairbanks Rd on Monday. Fairbanks Rd will NOT be completely closed to traffic. Each end and various sections will be closed as needed to complete cross-road replacement but there will be detours posted.

So apparently the work got delayed. We thought because of weather but it wasn't. They are now scheduled to start this coming Monday, August 24th. There will be access to Fairbanks Road by following detours. We are not planning on closing nor have we been closed due to any of the planned road construction. Please allow extra time to get to us if you have an appointment or feel free to call or text to see if our driveway is accessible.

PSA - Starting on Monday, 08/17/2026, at 6:00 AM, you will not be able to gain access to us from the Route 133 end. There will be detours posted. We're not sure how access will be affected as they continue work on other areas of Fairbanks Road next week.
We also learned they will be paving the road in September, again causing access restrictions. We'll post another update when we know more.

2020 Ford Edge ST had to remove the entire rear differential unit to replace the failed sensor. The sensor was completely seized in the housing. Had to drill it out and carefully dig the pieces out.
