Boy has this taken a long time, but the shop test car (‘65 Valiant) is just about ready to fire for the first time. I definitely underestimated what it was going to take to make it fit my needs. Re-wired it from nose to tail, but we have power at all of the critical locations.

We make it easy to pin your camshaft when using our “pin ready” cam drive components. Both our billet chain sprockets and gear drives come with pin receivers that match our pinning fixture kit.

While we don’t think everyone needs to pin their camshaft it is cheap insurance to a sheared locating pin. Basically $100 vs thousands. Pickup your pinning kit with your new Smith Innovation VVT delete chain sprocket or Gear Drive Kit at www.smith-innovation.com

Last of the production photos of the gear drive parts before the gears are packaged and make the trip from Italy. We are excited to get these packaged up and out to customers so they can install them into their dream builds.
We will be installing one into our newest build for our shop test car that will be getting a Kong blower and over 1,000WHP. Look for details of this build coming soon as we plug in many of our newest offerings.
