Update:

First i want to apologize. If you have been trying to reach me and have not heard from me. I have been out sick for about a week now. I was fighting an infection and can tell that i was winning towards the end of the week.

If you left me any messages. Please do call again or message me if you need my services. If not, I’m assuming that you have already got it taken care of.

Due to the shortage of motor oil my cost to stock motor oil at the shop has gone up.

In the past it an oil change was $80.00 and that covered up to 5qts with an oil filter. It is now $87.50 for the same service.

During the mean time I will work with my suppliers to bring that cost back down so I can pass on the savings to you. Thank you for understanding!

Going foward Nerd Automotive is longer accepting carry in items and suppplies to be installed.

The big question is, Why?

The reason why is due to multiple complications and complaint of client supplied parts. Unfortunately I am going to end that option to make it easier and fair for both parties.

If it’s a specific part/supply that I absolutely cannot get or substitute. I will still offer that “carry in” option for you. That is the only time i will make an exception. Again as a reminder, there will be no warranty on parts and/or labor on client supplied items.

This applies to everything but is not limited to oil, oil filters, and tires. You will have to reach out to me prior to services.

And example would be, if you prefer Brad Penn motor oil. I cannot get Brad Penn motor oil, so im fine if you source it yourself. If you want Mobil 1 or AMSoil, i can get both so unfortunately i will have to say no to you.

If you ordered new tires online, sams club, discount tire Or winter/summer swaps that you store at home, as long as the tires are in good condition and you prefer me as the installer fine with it. But do not bring me tires you purchased on FB market that are less than 4-5/32nd tread or are cracked. I will no longer install them.
