WAUKEGAN!

From the entire Lopez Auto Body crew THANK YOU!

What a turnout! Cars lined up, vendors set up, DJs playing, families walking Downtown Waukegan and our community coming out strong. This is exactly why we love putting this show together.

First and foremost, thank you to every car owner who pulled up and put their ride on display. Whether you came from around the corner or drove in from out of town, we appreciate you choosing to spend the day with us. YOU are the show!

Thank you to our vendors, DJs, volunteers, sponsors, partners, friends and everyone who helped us get everything set up, keep things moving and get it all cleaned up when it was over. It takes a crew, and ours showed up.

A big thank you to the City of Waukegan, Waukegan Public Works and the Waukegan Police Department for their help and cooperation throughout the event. Events this size take coordination from a lot of different people, and we appreciate everyone who helped make the day run safely and smoothly.

And WAUKEGAN — you showed up!

Thank you for supporting the cars, supporting the vendors, supporting Downtown and supporting a local business that is proud to call this city home.

We had some challenges getting to show day, but once those streets filled up, it was GO TIME. 💪🏽

From our garage to the streets of Downtown Waukegan, THANK YOU for another great show.

We’ll see you at the next one.

🚨 NEW DATE ALERT — SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH! 🚨

Mother Nature had other plans for us this weekend, and after closely monitoring the weather, we’ve made the decision to officially move our entire 2-in-1 event to NEXT SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH!

WE ARE NOT CANCELING JUST RESCHEDULING!

As much as we wanted to make this Saturday happen, an outdoor event and severe weather simply don’t mix. We have to think about everyone involved our guests, vendors, performers, car show participants, volunteers, vehicles, equipment, and products.

Everything stays the same ONLY THE DATE CHANGES!

📅 Saturday, September 26, 2026

We’ve put way too much work into this one to let Mother Nature ruin the party. 😂 She can have this weekend we’ll take the next one!

Thank you to everyone for being flexible and understanding. Please help us spread the word by SHARING THIS POST!

We’ll see you September 26th! 🙌🏽

🚨 ¡ATENCIÓN — NUEVA FECHA: SÁBADO 26 DE SEPTIEMBRE! 🚨

Our Bossman made the cut! 🔥 Shout-out to The Milwaukee Motor Channel for the feature!

This car is special to our shop not only because it belongs to the Bossman, but because of what it took to get it ready. When we say we painted and put this car back together in 2 days, we mean it! We pulled some serious hours, and every single team member put in work to make it happen.

As a shop owner, everyone else’s car always comes first, so this time, we knew we had to come together and make it happen for him. That’s what teamwork looks like!

Look who stopped by Lopez Auto Body!

A huge congratulations to the beautiful Camila Retana on being crowned Reina Fiestas Patrias Waukegan 2026!

Thank you, Camila, for thinking of us and stopping by to show your support. Moments like this remind us why community means so much, when our local businesses, families, and young people support one another, we all shine brighter!

We are incredibly proud to see our youth embracing their culture, representing Waukegan, and stepping forward with confidence and pride. We can’t wait to see Camila shine throughout her reign and at this year’s Fiestas Patrias celebration!

¡Felicidades, Reina Camila! Your community is cheering you on!

A heartfelt thank you to Opulent Trucking for supporting our Waukegan's Annual End of Summer Fiesta's Car Show/Festival ! ❤️

We connected with the wonderful people behind Opulent Trucking Inc. some time ago, but that connection grew even stronger after witnessing their Share the Warmth Drive at the Puerto Rican Society. Seeing their genuine commitment to helping others reminded us just how much local businesses like ours contribute to the communities we call home.

Their support goes far beyond business; it reflects a shared belief in giving back, bringing people together, and investing in our community.

We cannot thank Opulent Trucking enough for choosing to support us and helping make this event possible. We are truly grateful to have community-minded businesses like theirs standing beside us!
