Due to ongoing weather conditions, mast stepping conditions, and boats unable to leave our boat basin due to lake conditions, Larsen Marine is currently experiencing delays in scheduled boat launches and related service commitments. While our team continues working hard to accommodate every customer as quickly as possible, Mother Nature ultimately dictates when conditions are safe for our staff, equipment, and your vessels.

We understand these delays can be frustrating and sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this unusually challenging stretch of weather. Our service and launch teams remain committed to communicating updates and getting every customer on the water as soon as conditions safely allow, with the holiday weekend, and a back log from Monday afternoon and Tuesdays wind’s some scheduled departures may be delayed into next week.

Proud to support the Lake Michigan racing community ⛵️

Larsen Marine has donated two special auction packages to the 2026 Midwest Women’s Sailing Conference Auction, each including a haul out, power bottom wash, and launch.

These packages are especially valuable for race boats looking to stop in Waukegan for a bottom wash ahead of the Hook Race or Mac Race season.

Bid early, bid often, and help support MWSC. Auction bidding ends May 16, 2026 at 6 PM.
