We hope everyone enjoyed Wauconda’s Homecoming Parade last weekend! We had such a blast being a part of it and hosting The Bulldogs Cheer Team, giving them a lift on one of our tow trucks. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get more pictures as we had our hands full with our trainees inside the truck. (see pictures below😉)

‘Cops Night Out’ 2022 on Main Street, Wauconda was a success! The event, which is part of ‘National Night Out,’ is a community-police awareness-raising event in the United States, held the first Tuesday of August.

Many that commonly work along side our dedicated Wauconda Police Department were in attendance: Wauconda Fire Department, Wauconda Puble Works and us - Mike’s Towing. There were police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, snowplow trucks, tow trucks, even a huge red wagon! Free food, face-painting, games & prizes, freshly popped popcorn. 🍿 If that wasn’t enough, all the children smiled wide as they finally got the chance to sit in the driver’s seat of their favorite vehicle’s while in the company of their heroes. 🚓 🚒 🚑 👮‍♀️ 👨‍🚒 🦺 🚧

We are so proud to welcome our newest mechanic-in-training to the Mike’s Towing team! 🛠🧰

👨‍🔧Little Gage Johnson marks the beginning of the 3rd generation to our family business and has a natural inclination towards the “shop life.” ⚙️

Be sure to say hello👋 to him when you stop in Mike’s! (Grandpa Mike’s, now 😄)

You can usually catch this busy little guy at the shop once or twice a week between his naps. 😴💤

He brings us much joy and we wanted to share that with you. 🤗
