Project Spotlight: 1965 Sunbeam Tiger Mk I
The Sunbeam Tiger is one of the most celebrated Anglo-American sports cars ever built. Produced by the Rootes Group from 1964 to 1967, it combined the nimble handling of a British roadster with the raw performance of Ford’s small-block V8. The concept was famously developed with the involvement of legendary racer and automotive designer Carroll Shelby, creating a sports car that remains highly sought after by collectors today.

This exceptional Tiger has been meticulously restored and refined by the craftsmen at Gary’s Rods & Restorations. Every aspect of the build reflects the shop’s commitment to quality, precision, and attention to detail. From the flawless bodywork and paint to the carefully finished mechanical components, no detail was overlooked. Gary’s Rods & Restorations is getting down to the finish line with this Porsche OUTLAW. This build is all about the marriage of custom aero and race-inspired performance. The drivetrain is installed and it’s on the ground! We’ve installed the doors, hood and front fenders. Going to be installing our “new” in house custom bumpers, and side skirts soon. 1968 Corvette Built by Gary’s Rods and Restorations
Phil and Sarah Quinton’s first custom build came to life with an Art Morrison sport chassis, independent suspension, 13” Wilwood brakes, and a 495hp LS3 Chevy V8. Finished with extensive body mods, a lowered trunk (yes, room for two golf bags), leather interior by Finish Line, and Gary’s signature concours-quality paintwork. Bought new by Dad. After his passing in 2019, the journey continued. Gary’s Rods and Restorations began the build in 2022, spending three years transforming it into a Pro-Touring monster. European Spotlight Update!
1984 Porsche 911 “Grand Touring” Outlaw
Gary’s Rods & Restorations is at it again! They are in the final stages of completing this stunning 911 build. Inspired by the Porsche Outlaw movement, where performance, individuality, and driving attitude take priority over factory-correct restoration, This Grand Touring 911 blends classic styling with modern capability.
This build features extensive suspension and drivetrain upgrades designed to transform the car into a true canyon carver. Gary’s Paint Shop handled the exceptional body and paintwork, while their new in-house front and rear bumpers, along with custom flared side skirts, give the car a more aggressive and purposeful stance and no one else has ‘em! This 911 is built to be driven hard, enjoyed often, and admired everywhere it goes. It won’t be long before this Outlaw is attacking back roads the way Porsche intended.
