Boston Jeepz Inc. Announces Legal Action Following Theft and Misconduct by Former Employee
SEMINOLE, FL — December 3, 2024, marked the forced shutdown of Boston Jeepz Inc. following a burglary committed by a terminated employee. During the incident, the former public employee misled a Watertown Police Department detective with a fabricated story, enabling the theft of nearly the company’s entire operating inventory. Stolen property included the founder’s personal trade tools—built over 35 years—as well as service memorabilia and specialized automotive programming equipment critical to the company’s operations.
The matter is now before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, where the Honorable Judge Angel Kelley presides. The defendants’ motion to dismiss under Rule 12(b) was denied, and Boston Jeepz Inc. has secured the right to litigate and amend its claims.
Despite suffering catastrophic losses, the company has been denied insurance coverage. This denial stems from the Watertown Police Department’s withholding of reports and incident information, a move that appears calculated to shield its detective from liability.
To support the founder’s recovery and ensure accountability, a GoFundMe campaign will soon be launched. Contributions will go directly toward rebuilding operations, preserving the legacy of Boston Jeepz Inc., and sustaining ongoing legal efforts to secure justice.
“This is not about seeking sympathy,” said David Freeman, founder and fiduciary of Boston Jeepz Inc. “It’s about exposing misconduct, ensuring accountability, and protecting the rights of small business owners who refuse to be silenced.”
